Odell Beckham Is Trying to Come Back. The Giants Are Watching.

One of the most talented wide receivers in NFL history is working out for the New York Giants. OBJ is 33. His knees have been through a lot. But the Giants are curious enough to take a look.

At his best, Odell Beckham Jr was the most exciting wide receiver in the NFL. That one-handed catch against the Dallas Cowboys in 2014 — made famous a hundred times over — still gets replayed on highlight reels today.

That was 12 years ago.

Now OBJ is 33, working out for the New York Giants, the team where it all started. Sources confirmed on June 1st that New York is giving him a serious look ahead of the 2026 NFL season.

This is not a guaranteed signing. It is a workout. But it means something.

Beckham's career has been defined as much by injury as by brilliance. He tore his ACL twice. His time with the Los Angeles Rams ended on a Super Bowl win in 2022 followed by another serious knee injury just months later. His last full healthy season feels like a long time ago now.

And yet here he is, still trying.

The Giants have had a rough few years at the wide receiver position. If Beckham can show in workouts that his legs still work — that he can still create separation, still track deep balls, still do the things that made him special — then a short-term deal makes sense for both sides.

For OBJ it would mean going home. The Giants were where he became a star. That story is not lost on anyone watching this unfold.

The NFL season kicks off in 100 days. There is still time to make the roster. Whether his body lets him get there is the only question left.
